How Renovation Status is Determined
Priority-based approach for determining renovation date
Priority 1: Manual Upload
Renovation completion dates from your unit renovation tracker spreadsheet. Most accurate when available.
Priority 2: Unit Dimension Changes
We track all unit dimension changes over time (unit type, floor plan, amenity, etc.). When a unit type changes from a Classic pattern to a Renovated pattern, we capture the date.
Unit Type Pattern Matching
Configured per client, per property
Renovation status is inferred from unit type naming conventions. This mapping is client-specific and configured per property during onboarding. Your BubbleGum BI team works with you to define which unit type patterns indicate Classic vs Renovated status for your portfolio.
